There are many things that you can keep in these jars, and the jar doesn’t have to be clear if you don’t want to see what’s in it.

Serving Ware
This option is a great one if you’re a big entertainer. There are many types of serving ware that you can use as decor in your kitchen. And there are also so many finishes to choose from to match your style.
Some types of serving ware that you can use are serving platters, tiered trays, and cake stands. However, with several other types to choose from, feel free to get creative.
Serving ware (especially silver) is a great thing to find at a local thrift or vintage store!
Framed Art
There aren’t many places that framed art or photos don’t belong. However, people often forget about the kitchen being a great place to display some art.
One thing we will say though is that you may want to avoid putting a prized piece of artwork in a spot near the counter where pasta sauce or something else disastrous could get on it.
Pot Rack
A pot rack is a great option to put pretty cookingware like copper pots on display. This also gives a very english cottage vibe to a space.
We love how the Fox Group put a pot rack above their stove in this gorgeous kitchen.
Cookware
Because you need something to fill a pot rack with! Copper cookware is a great way to add a hint of something different to your kitchen. And no need to have a pot rack if that’s not a good option for you, keeping a pot out on the stove looks great too!

There’s no better way to bring life into a space than to add some real plants! Potted herbs look great on a counter by the window and also give you fresh herbs for cooking!
Bonus benefits of potted herbs in your kitchen are the cute pots that you can put them in and that you may have some fragrance come off the herbs!
Flowers
Just like potted herbs, bringing some flowers into a space adds instant life. And is there ever a space where flowers don’t belong??
If real flowers in your house isn’t a great option for you, invest in some nice artificial flowers that often look just like the real thing!
Breadboards
A kitchen classic: having breadboards out as decor. This also makes you charcuterie board-ready at a moment’s notice!
Lamps
For some reason lamps aren’t all that common to see in a kitchen. However, there are sometimes spots that are just made for it.
For example, in the photo below it may look a bit plain without lamps, but adding it adds some height interest where you have the high windows down to the low counters with the lamps coming somewhere in between to draw your eyes out those gorgeous windows. Always remember to play with heights!
Utensil Holder
Keep your utensils handy by putting them in a utensil holder on the counter! This makes it so much easier when cooking and needing to quickly change utensils.
Similar to lamps, these can also add some height interest to your counters.
Rugs
When you have enough floor space, a rug is often helpful to break up the area. Here is a gorgeous option that we found that can work with a variety of designs and colors.
Fruit Bowl
Maybe it’s just us, but it seems like every picture of a high-end kitchen has a bowl of fruit proudly displayed. And we’re here for it.
