Location: Of course where you’re going to be putting the table matters a lot. Most spaces will only allow for certain sizes of tables. Make sure to measure before you buy!
Shape: You’ll come across a few common dining table shapes: rectangular, round, square, and oval. You may like the looks of certain ones over others and some may fit better in certain types of spaces than others!
Seating amount: If you plan to use your table for a lot of entertaining, having a table that will seat many people would likely be a good fit. But if you think you’ll only ever have a few people (or just yourself!), having a large table might be a bit much.
Matching preference: Many outdoor dining tables have coordinating chairs that come with them. If that’s a style that you like, this may be something to consider.
